IV therapy is the most beneficial route for nutrients, vitamins, amino acids and antioxidants. IV therapy is recommended to help aid hang over recovery, help boost your immune system, help fight and prevent illnesses, increase energy, aid sport performance, increase hydration, detox and chelate metals and toxins, provide mitochondrial support, maximize fat loss and commonly used to help slow the aging process from the inside out through detoxification and replacement of potent antioxidants that we lose as we age such as Glutathione, COQ10, ALA and NAD+.

Why chose IV administration? IV administration delivers higher concentrations of nutrients directly to the cells compared to oral supplementation which can be affected by diet, genetic components, GI malabsorption, alcohol consumption and the formulation of oral supplementation . Oral supplementation provides approximately 10-20% absorption while IV therapy is 100% bioavailable. While taking oral supplements and eating a proper diet is important, IV nutrition may be the most effective way to boost and periodically maintain your hydration and optimal health in addition to possibly treating a particular condition more holistically.

We also offer various injection/booster shots including B12, Vitamin D, immune boosting combos, Amino acids, NAD+, CoQ10, Biotin, Glutathione and Weight loss enhancement injections as well ie: Lipo (MIC) injections help boost metabolism, aid fat breakdown, help cellular detox, increase energy, improve mood and focus and even boost your immune system. When time is a factor booster injections may be the fastest way to achieve or maintain your health and wellness goals. Most boosters are recommended weekly or bi-weekly and dependent on the clients goals and tolerance.

IV therapy and injections may aid in symptom relief and immune system improvement needed for conditions such as Autoimmune disorders, Lyme disease, EBV, Post Viral syndromes, Neuropathy, Neurological issues, POTS, Chronic fatigue, even adjunct therapy to cancer treatment and much more. Ask your doctor if IV therapy might benefit for you!

Prior to IV Therapy

Please fill out your intake and consent forms prior to arrival (a link will be sent to you) and review the menu for services and options available. You will need to submit the intake form and all consent forms prior to your first appointment. You can access these forms via mobile devices or computer via the link that will be sent to you. If you have an issue accessing the link please let us know. You will be evaluated prior to services provided and your questions answered. Please note, if you are pregnant or have congestive heart failure, liver failure, kidney failure or currently on chemotherapy or radiation, we may not recommend IV hydration infusions or you may not qualify for infusions. We also do not infuse anyone under 18 years of age. Submitting your intake forms prior to your appt will help avoid delay in evaluating if you qualify. Consult your primary care and speciality doctors before pursuing hydration therapy. All client intakes are evaluated by a Nurse Practitioner or Medical director (MD) prior to services rendered.

Hydrate and Eat (or bring a snack)

While you may be coming to see us for hydration, we ask that you hydrate as best as you can in order to make IV access easier to obtain. When your body is dehydrated your veins constrict making it more difficult to receive IV therapy. It’s also important to eat a snack, like a granola bar, or a meal before your IV infusion so that your blood sugar levels are stable. Staying hydrated and having something in your stomach before your appointment will help you avoid any nausea or lightheadedness that may occur during or after your session (rare but can occur).

Appropriate Dress for Your IV Infusion

Since IV therapy generally takes about 30-60 minutes you’ll want to wear something you’ll be comfortable in. Make sure to wear something that leaves the veins in your inner elbow exposed; layering is ideal for temperature control . However, we do try to provide a comfortable environment by offering blankets, warm packs (arm may become cold from IV fluids), mood lighting, light music, essential oils, phone chargers, and recliners with massage features. You may read a book, use your phone, bring your laptop for work (we offer free WIFI) or relax and take a short nap. Our larger main infusion room also has a TV, while our smaller more private room is for relaxing or work while you infuse. We do offer warm IV fluids when appropriate.

Plan your time accordingly

We can customize certain infusions like the Myers or glutathione push dose that may be as short as 15min but your first appointment will be your longest. Expect your first appointment to be at least 45-60min in order to answer your questions, perform health evaluation, and your infusion time. IV infusions may be as quick as 15-30min or may last and hour or more depending on several factors. These factors may include, the size of your veins and the catheter used to access your vein, the rate of infusion you can tolerate, as well as the size of bag and the formulation you select. The size of bag and the infusion you select heavily affects the time you are with us. We schedule appointments in 60 and 90 min intervals and ask that you arrive on time. If you must cancel or reschedule an appointment time please do so as soon as possible in order to avoid taking time slots for other clients. NAD+ and high dose Vit C will take longer to infuse; please see NAD+ tab for details.

Post IV Therapy

When you receive an IV infusion, it can feel cold infusing the fluid beneath the skin. Some experience minor pain at the injection site and slight ache as fluid infuses. We can manage this to a degree with the rate of infusion and warming the fluids prior to infusing; However, some discomfort is normal and should be expected, however most people do not feel anything at all and tolerate rather well. Once the infusion is finished any ache usually subsides quickly within 5-15min. While most infusions and treatments help to aid in increased energy levels, it is not unusual to have a headache or feel tired after some infusions. You may also experience some nasal congestion as well depending on the infusion you received and target goal of treatment.

Aftercare instructions:

  1. Leave the dressing on for only 10-15min then remove. Leaving it in place to long can result in excess bruising, pain and numbness.

  2. In the days that follow the session, check the injection site for bruising or swelling.

  3. If there happens to be bruising or swelling, either put a cold pack on the site or get a thin cloth, put it on your skin, and place ice on the cloth. Do not leave longer than 10-15min at a time.

  4. Shower or bathe as you normally would.

  5. As you do your regular activities, be mindful of the injection site for a day or two. Try to prevent it from having rough contact with anything and try to avoid heavy lifting for 24 hr.

  6. Let us know if you have any unusual or unexpectated issues post infusion.

  7. If you have any life threatening adverse reactions such as anaphylaxis, trouble breathing, irregular heart rate, or passing out, call 911/go to the ER. Notify our office after addressing any emergent issues that you may experience. Please call your primary care doctor for all questions or concerns not related specifically to the services you received from our facility.
